Billy Turner & DeWanna Bonner’s Mission to Empower Youth

The Impact
At Kind Energy Foundation, we believe that kindness is more than just an action—it’s a way of life. Founded on the principle that true strength comes from within, our foundation provides young people with the guidance, tools, and support they need to thrive. Through mentorship, physical and mental training, and meaningful partnerships, we cultivate an environment where youth feel seen, heard, and empowered. By instilling kindness as a core value, we help them build self-confidence, leadership skills, and a mindset that transforms their lives and the world around them.

The Story
Billy Turner, a seasoned NFL veteran known for his resilience on the offensive line, and DeWanna Bonner, a two-time WNBA champion with an unshakable competitive spirit, seemed like an unlikely duo off the field. But beyond their athletic careers, they shared a deeper passion— helping the next generation rise, not just in sports, but in life.
In 2025, they teamed up to re-launch the Kind Energy Foundation, an initiative Turner had started years earlier. This time, they expanded its mission beyond physical fitness, weaving in a focus on mental well-being—an often overlooked but equally critical aspect of youth development.
