Keep North Minneapolis Warm This Winter

Join the Coats for Kind Energy drive and help provide warmth, confidence, and care to local youth and families.

This winter, Kind Energy Foundation and partners are collecting new and gently used coats to distribute through V3 Sports in North Minneapolis.

For many families, a winter coat costing $100–$300 is out of reach. Together, we can change that.

Our goal is to collect and distribute 500 coats by November 7th.

Why it matters

1 in 3 North Minneapolis residents are under 17.
35% of families earn less than $35K/year.
A warm coat can mean confidence, connection, and focus at school.

Collection Period

A huge success

Working alongside V-3, The Quincy House, Delta Dental, Blue Sky Bakery, Ad Reach, HITE EQ and Level Up Coaching, we were able to distribute over 700 coats to those in need within the Twin Cities community. We also gave out 250 cartons of water (thanks to AD Reach) and 650 cups filled with doughnut holes from Blue Sky Bakery.

The outpouring of love, kindness, and support from all the donations and volunteers truly embodies the message Kind Energy is implementing.We were thrilled to see such a positive impact. We are so grateful for everyone who donated their time and energy to make this event a resounding success.
